Starting. August 23-November

On August 23, I am going to start a weight loss contest with some other mothers who had their babies in February/March. Little man is 6 months old, I think it is time to start losing this baby weight right?

Since I am nursing, I am not going to be necessarily counting calories unless I am not losing any weight at all, then I may have to start doing that. My plan of action is to be on a sort of paleo/primal diet. I don't think I can cut out the dairy completely. I am just going to keep the good dairies in my life like greek yogurt, milk, cottage cheese.

Another thing that I am going to try to add in my life is being more active. I am admittedly very lazy when it comes to exercising. I say I don't have the time when in reality I think that maybe I could...haha.

There is a chance, well a very good chance, that I will be taking some "breaks" for things such as birthdays and dates. I want to make this a lifestyle, and I can't never have cake. :)

My ultimate (realistic) goal for right now is to be 150 pounds. This would mean I would have to lose around 25 pounds. For this contest however, I don't think that it will be a long enough time period to do that.

For breakfast I will be eating a smoothie which will consist of berries and greek yogurt.
My lunch will most likely consist of a chicken salad or something.
Snacks. I am still finding ideas.
And dinner. *sigh* Ok I have no ideas basically. I will post them later.

3 months PP

Well, here I am 3 month post partum, and feeling like I need to get back in shape!
I have no ab muscles. I am 20 pounds heavier than when I got married. 40 from my dream weight and 30 from my realistic goal.
I have signed up for some 5k's this summer.

Let's get this started!
